Corvette pinball rules and strategy

The Strategy

Corvette uses the left orbit and engine ramp to collect three locks before Rev Mode releases Corvette Multiball. During Multiball, shoot the side loop for Horse Power and the side ramp for Torque; make the loop and then the ramp for the doubled Torque Super.

The goal

Shoot the left orbit and engine ramp to collect three locks, finish Rev Mode, then use Corvette Multiball to collect Horse Power, Torque, and the side-loop-to-side-ramp Super.

  1. Test the left orbit-to-engine feed and the upper-flipper side-loop shot before committing to the lock route.

  2. Shoot the left orbit to light engine lock, then use the left ramp to lock the ball.

  3. Repeat the qualification and lock sequence until the third engine lock starts Rev Mode.

  4. Keep the flippers active during Rev Mode; when the third ball drops into the engine, Corvette Multiball begins.

  5. Choose the next multiball shot from the current feed; take the easier side-ramp Torque first when the upper-flipper feed is unstable.

    • Side loop: Horse Power jackpot; attempt it only from a stable upper-flipper feed.
    • Side ramp: Torque jackpot and the safer cashout.
    • Side loop followed by side ramp: doubled Torque Super.
  6. After collecting both main jackpots, repeat the relit loop-and-ramp cycle at the increased values.

  7. When two balls drain before any jackpot, use the short engine-restart window instead of returning immediately to side play.

  8. Between multiballs, take safe Route 66 or Challenge progress toward the nine-car Future Car set.

Alternative route: Route 66 car route

Use this when the left orbit or engine lock is rejecting.

  1. Repeat the right ramp to enter Route 66 awards and car progress.
  2. Take a lit Challenge at the Pit only when its return is understood.
  3. Return to engine locks after the feed becomes controllable.
Need to know
Engine locks
The left orbit lights engine locks; the left ramp sends balls into the engine.
Rev Mode
The third lock starts a flipper-driven rev sequence; Multiball begins when that ball drops into the engine.
Corvette Multiball
All three balls feed toward the upper flipper for the side-loop and side-ramp Jackpot cycle.

Machine setup

  • Confirm production L-3 or the installed ROM, physical or virtual locks, ball count, Extra Ball conversion, and Multiball saves.
  • Confirm later-lock timers, engine compensation, Jackpot values, Challenge difficulty, Drag Race awards, and Future Car reset behavior.
  • Test the left orbit, engine ramp and diverter, Pit, side loop, side ramp, upper flipper, and engine release before choosing the route.
