Godzilla pinball rules and strategy
The Strategy
Godzilla lets a Battle continue into Multiball only when the Battle starts first; Battle shots also damage buildings. Shoot either ramp twice, shoot the scoop, choose Gigan, and make eight ramps to damage the building. On Pro, shoot the building at zero health to start Godzilla Multiball. On Premium or LE, shoot the building for three locks. Collect six Jackpots, then shoot the building for the Super Jackpot.
The goal
Choose Gigan, shoot either ramp twice to light the Battle at the scoop, then use Gigan's ramp shots to damage the building for Godzilla Multiball. Finish the Battle under Multiball protection, collect six Jackpots, and shoot the building for the Super Jackpot.
Start a Kaiju Battle
For the first Battle, shoot either ramp twice to light Battle at the scoop. Shoot the scoop, then use the flippers or action button to choose Gigan.
- Gigan lasts 60 seconds and needs eight ramp shots. Unfinished progress persists. Every required ramp also damages the building for Godzilla Multiball.
- After the first Battle, shoot both ramps to light the next one. A Tier 1 Battle can continue during multiball only if it starts first.
Start Godzilla Multiball
Keep shooting the ramps and building until the building's health reaches zero. The upper and middle floors accept either shot; the lower floor requires building shots.
- On Pro, hit the Building toy once more to start multiball. On Premium or LE, hit the Building toy three times; each hit locks a ball, and the third starts multiball.
- During multiball, collect six lit jackpots, then shoot the building for the Super Jackpot.
Alternative route: Mechagodzilla Multiball
Use this when the right spinner is safer than the ramps and building.
- Make 20 right-spinner hits. Hit the spinner once more to deploy Neo Barrier.
- On Pro, hit two green standups, then shoot the right spinner to start multiball. On Premium or LE, hit all three green targets, then shoot the jump ramp.
- During multiball, alternate the ramps and building with the three blue Mecha targets. After six jackpots, use spinner hits to build the Super Jackpot and collect it at the right spinner.
Need to know
- City Select
- Starting a Battle lights City Select at the scoop. You can change cities after the Battle begins without completing it first.
- Gigan combos
- Alternate ramps when possible. Opposite-ramp combos score double, and a combo final blow scores 4x instead of 2x.
- Godzilla jackpot multipliers
- Each jackpot shot raises its own multiplier from 1x to 5x. A complete set adds 1x to later Super Jackpots.
- Mechagodzilla Super Jackpot
- Collect it at the right spinner for 1x, or make Tail Whip from the upper flipper for 3x.
