Locomotion pinball rules and strategy

Complete any drop-target bank to open its station gate and raise Extra Bonus. If a bank's Special lamp is lit, finish that bank before the timer ends. Shoot the left ramp to cross the bridge and use open stations. Hit the three fixed targets for Bonus X, and use the center top rollover to advance the lower return-lane awards.

The goal

Finish one station bank at a time, especially when its timed Special lamp is active. Use the left ramp after gates are open, and take the fixed targets when Bonus X is the safer route.

  1. Complete one of the three drop-target banks to open its station gate and increase Extra Bonus.

  2. When a bank's Special lamp is lit, complete that bank before the timed window ends to collect Special.

  3. Shoot the left ramp to cross the bridge and pass the station gates you have opened.

  4. Hit the three fixed targets to advance Bonus X; use the center top rollover to advance the lower rollover awards.

Machine setup

  • Check bank difficulty, timed Special duration, Extra Bonus, Bonus X, station-gate, and award settings.
  • Test all three banks and gates, Special timers, left ramp and bridge, three fixed targets, center top rollover, lower return lanes, and Bonus X lamps.
