Medusa pinball rules and strategy
The Strategy
Medusa turns seven progressive target patterns into timed zipper-flipper control and a lit Olympus Bonus at the upper saucer. Soft-plunge upstairs, complete each displayed pattern, collect Olympus, and use the left orbit to raise end-of-ball bonus to 5x.
The goal
Soft-plunge into the upper playfield, complete each lit seven-target pattern, collect the lit Olympus Bonus at the saucer, and use the left orbit to build 5x bonus.
Soft-plunge for the moving star rollover and keep the ball on the upper playfield.
Read the lit seven-target bank and hit only the current required pattern.
Use the closed zipper-flipper window to continue the seven-target bank and raise the Olympus Bonus value.
When the upper saucer is lit, collect Olympus Bonus before the ball leaves the upper level.
In lower play, shoot the left orbit to advance Bonus X through 5x.
At 5x, repeat the left orbit for its 50,000-point award while the return stays safe.
Alternative route: Colossus route
Use this when the seven-target patterns are difficult to finish.
- Complete the left 1-2-3 standups in order or complete the right four-bank.
- Advance and collect the Colossus award.
- Repeat only while target rebounds remain controlled.
- Return to the upper route after a safe top feed.
