Solids N Stripes pinball rules and strategy
The Strategy
If you are playing alone, follow Player 1's solid-ball display, 1-7; the striped 9-15 display belongs to Player 2. Shoot the six kick-out pockets until your assigned set is complete, then make the lit 8-ball for an extra ball and 2,000-point pockets. Pocket-edge rejects can send the ball toward the glass or an outlane, so take clean approaches instead of forcing the last pocket.
The goal
Complete your assigned solid or striped set through the six kick-out pockets, make the qualified 8-ball, then use the raised 2,000-point pocket value while protecting against violent pocket-edge rejects.
Identify your display before shooting: Player 1 works solids 1-7, while Player 2 works stripes 9-15.
Shoot the six kick-out pockets from clean feeds and watch your assigned backglass set for progress.
When every ball in your assigned set is made, shoot the now-qualified 8-ball.
After making the 8-ball, use the increased 2,000-point pocket value while it remains available.
Do not force a pocket after a violent rim reject; wait for a safer return because another edge hit can send the ball toward the glass or an outlane.
