Star Wars pinball rules and strategy

The Strategy

Star Wars qualifies Tri-Ball through repeated yellow Death Star target hits. Hit the target until the Death Star opens and enter it, then hit the target to light the ramp Jackpot; after collecting it, return to the briefly open Death Star for Double Jackpot. Later cycles require more target hits before the ramp relights.

The goal

Hit the yellow target until the Death Star opens, then enter it to start Tri-Ball. Hit the target to light the ramp Jackpot, collect it, then return to the open Death Star for the timed Double Jackpot.

  1. Open the Death Star

Hit the yellow target below the Death Star until the moon lights are complete and the Death Star opens.

  2. Start Tri-Ball

Shoot the open Death Star to start three-ball Tri-Ball.

  3. Collect the Jackpot

Hit the Death Star target once to light the Jackpot, then shoot the ramp to collect it. Additional target hits before the ramp add 1 million each.

  4. Collect the Double and repeat

Shoot the open Death Star before the Double Jackpot timer expires. The next Jackpot needs two Death Star target hits; if two balls drain before a Jackpot is collected, shoot the Death Star during the roughly ten-second restart window.

Alternative route: Ramp and Force

Use this while the Death Star is closed; the ramp advances STAR WARS and can also light or award Force.

  1. Repeat the ramp. Every ramp shot adds a STAR WARS letter; spelling STAR WARS scores 10 million.
  2. When the red Force light is lit, shoot the Force hole for the current award. Shoot C3PO Eyes (or keep repeating the ramp when it relights Force), then repeat.
