Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory pinball rules and strategy
The Strategy
Willy Wonka gives a Gobstopper lock each time you knock down the Gobstopper target and shoot the Most Secret Machine. The third lock starts Gobstopper Multiball. Collect three ramp Jackpots (the center ramp counts as two), then shoot the Most Secret Machine for the five-times Gobstopper Jackpot. For Kid Multiball, qualify a Kid, shoot the captive ball when Collect Kid is lit, then shoot the left target.
The goal
Use the Gobstopper target and Most Secret Machine for three Gobstopper locks. Factory Tour features start at the TV saucer, and a qualified Kid enables Kid Multiball.
How to start a mode
Shoot either orbit until the desired purple Super X is lit, then shoot the TV saucer to start it. Hit the captive ball until orange Collect Bonus is lit, then return to the TV saucer before Super X expires.
Recommended mode: Collect Bonus, when it is available
Choose the orange Collect Bonus feature when purple Super X can multiply its cashout.
How to play it
Shoot either orbit to light purple Super X and start it at the TV saucer. Hit the captive ball to light orange Collect Bonus, then shoot the TV saucer again before Super X expires.
Start Gobstopper Multiball
Hit the Gobstopper target to open the Most Secret Machine, then shoot the hole to lock a ball. Repeat until the third lock starts Gobstopper Multiball.
Alternative route: Kid Multiball
A qualified Kid enables this independent Multiball start.
- Complete a Kid objective, shoot the captive ball when Collect Kid is lit, then shoot the left target to start Kid Multiball.
