The Strategy
In 2001, shoot the colored drop groups and finish one color at a time. Each completed color lights its matching upper saucer and lane for 300 instead of 50; complete the configured three or four colors for Special. Dimension and Galaxie use Add-A-Ball and WOW awards instead, so identify the title before following the final award route.
The goal
Start with the center saucer, then bank shots across the colored drops. Finish green and red first on 2001 because their lights improve return lanes; the other colors improve outlanes. Avoid the four central stand-ups unless their configured award is worth the rebound.
On 2001, plunge the center saucer for 300 before any colored saucer has been lit.
Bank controlled shots across one colored five-drop group instead of shooting the central stand-ups.
Finish green or red first to light its matching saucer and return lane for 300.
On a later plunge, choose a lit colored saucer whose kickout can return to another saucer or a safe feed.
Complete the configured three or four color groups for Special; on Dimension or Galaxie, follow the paired-color WOW and Add-A-Ball lamps instead.
