4 Roses pinball rules and strategy

Strategy summary

The goal

Build the red and yellow hole values with color advances. A lit Special hole awards a replay; lighting both holes lets the top rollover qualify replay shots at the rotating center target.

  1. Advance a color: The bottom left rollover advances yellow; the bottom right advances red. The marked advance buttons also advance their color when lit. Every five advances raise that color’s hole value; watch the value lamps beside the two holes.

  2. Collect a hole: Put the ball into the red hole on the left or yellow hole on the right to collect its lit value. Either hole awards one replay when its Special lamp is lit. These gobble holes keep the ball.

  3. Light the rotary target: Once both holes are lit for Special, make the top center rollover to light the rotary targets for Special. Hit the rotating target in the middle of the playfield while Special is lit to score one replay.
