Af-Tor pinball rules and strategy

Light a lower lane to open its timed upper gate, then complete the green orbit for 2x Baron X-Zone. Knock down Oil Pit to lock a ball, then shoot the center hole or Water Hole target to start two-ball Multiball.

The goal

Use a lit lower lane to open the green-gate orbit, cash the short 2x window, and build the separate Oil Pit lock into a center-hole or Water Hole Multiball start.

  1. Score a lit lower lane to open the matching upper orbit gate for a short timer.

  2. Shoot the green-lit orbit through both spinners to start the Baron X-Zone 2x window.

  3. Knock down the Oil Pit target to lock a ball.

  4. With a ball locked, shoot the center hole or Water Hole target to start two-ball Multiball and double playfield scoring.

Need to know
Open Orbit Gate
Score the matching lit lower lane; the upper gate opens briefly.
Start 2x
Complete the green-lit orbit while its gate is open.
Lock Ball
Knock down the Oil Pit target.

Machine setup

  • Identify early versus later hardware, then test both upper gates, both spinners, lower gate-light lanes, Oil Pit lock, center hole, Water Hole, and all three programmable drop targets.
  • Confirm lock memory, the left-outlane saver-at-ball-start setting, Extra Ball and Special conversion, and both timed-scoring durations.
