Big Indian / Big Brave pinball rules and strategy

The Strategy

In Big Indian and Big Brave, shoot upward through the top-left drops and the three star rollovers. Complete B-I-G to improve features, enable Double Bonus, and light the last target for Special. Completing the drop sequence scores 5,000 and resets it. After Bonus is high and doubled, shoot the right vari-target for up to 5,000 plus five Bonus advances.

The goal

Use the right flipper for the upper-left drops and the left flipper for the star-rollover route. Ignore low-value round stand-ups. Save the vari-target for a settled ball after Bonus is already doubled or when a full-depth hit is reliable.

  1. Plunge or shoot through a missing B-I-G lane at the top.

  2. From the right flipper, shoot the upper-left drop bank; from the left, return through the star rollovers.

  3. Complete B-I-G and the drop sequence to light the award, improve values, score 5,000, and reset the drops.

  4. Continue upward until Bonus is near maximum and Double Bonus is available.

  5. Then shoot the right vari-target from control for as much depth as the rebound safely allows.

Machine setup

  • Identify Big Indian or Big Brave, confirm three- or five-ball play, and verify whether B and G award together; that shortcut appears on the three-ball cards but not the five-ball cards.
  • Test B-I-G lanes and lamps, every drop and the reset, last-target Special, all Bonus advances, Double Bonus, right vari-target depth switches, upper star rollovers, end-of-ball Bonus, and center-drain rebounds from each target group.
