Blues Brothers pinball rules and strategy

The Strategy

Finish the drop-bank, J-A-K-E, or spinner requirement, then shoot the saucer to start the qualified minimode. Hit the captive ball to light each lock and shoot the upper hideaway to lock it.

The goal

Build Elwood at the drop banks, Jake at J-A-K-E, and the Band at the spinners. The saucer starts every qualified minimode together. For three-ball Multiball, hit the captive ball to light a lock and shoot the upper hideaway; repeat for the second lock.

  1. Qualify one or more minimodes: work the drop banks for Elwood, spell J-A-K-E for Jake, or build progress at the two spinners for the Band.

  2. Shoot the saucer to start every minimode that is currently qualified. A second ball is served for the feature.

  3. During Elwood, hit the indicated drop targets in order; during Jake, hit the lit J-A-K-E target; during the Band, shoot the lit left spinner.

  4. For the separate three-ball Multiball, hit the captive ball to light the next lock, then shoot the opened upper hideaway to lock the ball.

  5. Repeat captive ball to upper hideaway for the second lock. The game then moves into the Multiball start sequence.
