Boomerang / Flicker pinball rules and strategy

The Strategy

In Boomerang, shoot the center spinner and watch its return. If it scores well and feeds safely, repeat it. If not, hit the captive balls to build Bonus and complete A-B-C-D to light Double Bonus. The two tight inner arcs score 1,000 and can continue into the 3,000-point top saucer.

The goal

Choose the safer of the spinner and captive-ball routes on the physical copy. Build Bonus to 15,000 and complete A-B-C-D for the doubler. Avoid the unscored gap immediately right of the spinner because its rebound carries high drain risk.

  1. Shoot the center spinner once and judge both the scoring action and the ball's return.

  2. Repeat the spinner when it is productive and returns safely.

  3. If the spinner feed is poor, shoot the captive balls to advance Bonus instead.

  4. Complete A-B-C-D to light Double Bonus, then keep building toward 15,000.

  5. Use either tight inner star arc for 1,000 and a possible continuation into the 3,000-point top saucer.
