Camelot / Galahad pinball rules and strategy

Strategy summary

The goal

The left kickout hole collects a bonus value built by lit lanes and targets. The right hole pays more when 10 Times is lit. An extra-ball lane and a gate back to the shooter provide two different ways to extend play.

  1. Left bonus hole: The four top rollover lanes and three side targets advance the bonus value when lit. Shoot the left kickout hole to collect the value shown: 100 points, or a lit bonus of 200, 300, 400 or 500 points.

  2. Right kickout hole: This hole normally scores 50 points. When 10 Times is lit, it scores 500 instead. The four clue lights below the hole advance as one-point hits are scored; watch the current light before shooting.

  3. Extra-ball lane: Shoot upward through the lane on the left when its extra-ball light is on to score 300 points and earn another ball. The light changes during play. An unlit pass scores 100 points.

  4. Free-ball gate: The Open Gate rollover lowers the small post at the middle-right edge. Send the ball through that opening to score 300 points and return it to the shooter lane for another plunge. The gate closes after the ball passes through.
