Captain Nemo pinball rules and strategy

The Strategy

Choose one of the three main modes at game start and follow its lit playfield objectives. To build Multiball, hit both HERA and CLES, then take the lit locks at the left lane and right saucer; the right saucer starts it.

The goal

Choose a main mode at the start of the game, then follow its lit objectives. Hit HERA and CLES to light the left-lane and right-saucer Multiball locks; complete those lit locks, with the right saucer starting Multiball. A full N-E-M-O bank adds a ball to the next Multiball.

  1. At game start, choose one of the three main modes; use its lit inserts and display as the objective map.

  2. Hit the HERA and CLES standup targets to light the Multiball locks.

  3. Shoot the lit left lane and right saucer to complete the lock route; the right saucer starts Multiball immediately when its start is lit.

  4. Before starting, complete the N-E-M-O drop bank whenever practical; each full bank adds a ball to the next Multiball.

Machine setup

  • Confirm the installed software and show it to players. The 2017 release was still receiving rule development, so later versions can behave differently.
  • Check HERA, CLES, the left-lane upkicker, right saucer, all four N-E-M-O drops, both ramps, and the mode targets before play.
