Cleopatra pinball rules and strategy

Send the ball to the top to collect colored rollovers, then hit the matching center drops to raise bonus. Completing every rollover or every drop alternately lights a bull's-eye for Extra Ball and Special. When a side hole is lit, shoot it to collect double bonus.

The goal

Favor the top lanes and saucers because straight center-drop hits can rebound dangerously. When forced into the bank, hit colors whose matching top rollovers are already collected; this converts the risk into immediate bonus growth.

  1. Shoot to the top and collect as many colored rollovers as possible.

  2. Hit center drops whose matching rollover colors are already lit to raise those bonus values.

  3. Complete all rollovers or all drops to light the bull's-eye targets alternately for Extra Ball and Special.

  4. Shoot a lit side hole to collect double bonus, then rebuild from the top.

Machine setup

  • Identify Cleopatra EM, Cleopatra solid-state, or the two-player Pyramid edition; test the red, white, blue, yellow, and green lanes and drops, both bull's-eyes, both side holes and ejects, three pop bumpers, and bonus ladder.
  • Confirm three- or five-ball settings, Extra Ball and Special behavior, last-ball double bonus, and whether the side-hole ejects can be nudged into repeatable upper-playfield action.
