Don Quijote pinball rules and strategy

Strategy summary

The goal

The two drop-target banks build bonus and light Extra Ball, Double Bonus and Special. The small Double Bonus target qualifies Triple Bonus at a separate lane.

  1. Drop targets: Hit the two three-target banks below the pop bumpers, one on each side. Each target scores 5,000 points and advances bonus.

  2. Bank awards: The first completed bank lights Double Bonus and the upper Extra Ball. A second completed bank lights Double Bonus, the central Extra Ball target and Special in the lower-left outer lane. Collect each award at its lit shot.

  3. Triple Bonus: Hit the small Double Bonus target just above the left drop-target bank to light Triple Bonus at the lower-left inner lane. Roll through that lane while lit to activate it.

  4. End-of-ball bonus: Each bonus unit pays 10,000 points normally, 20,000 with Double Bonus or 30,000 with Triple Bonus. The bonus is collected at the end of the ball.
