Family Guy pinball rules and strategy
The Strategy
Family Guy uses captive-ball letters to open Stewie Pinball, whose five family shots start Stewie Multiball. Spell P-I-N-B-A-L-L, complete the mini-playfield family, then use the opening ball save for its hardest members. Finish the remaining lit family shots for the Super Jackpot.
The goal
Hit the captive balls to qualify Stewie Pinball, then use the mini-playfield to complete the family and start Stewie Multiball. During Stewie Multiball, prioritize the difficult mini-playfield members while the main-playfield ball save protects the stack.
Hit either captive Newton ball to spell P-I-N-B-A-L-L. Use controlled shots rather than repeated live-ball impacts.
When P-I-N-B-A-L-L is complete, shoot the TV scoop to start Stewie Pinball on the mini-playfield.
On Stewie Pinball, complete Brian, Meg, Peter, Lois, and Chris with the mini ramps, loops, and targets.
- Completing all five family members starts Stewie Multiball. The mini-playfield does not award ordinary points outside its named objectives.
During Stewie Multiball, use the opening ball save to finish the harder Peter and Meg mini-playfield shots before protecting every main-playfield ball.
- The family shots on both playfields qualify the Stewie Super Jackpot. Main-playfield Stewie targets can add mini-playfield time.
Hit captive balls during Stewie Multiball to respell P-I-N-B-A-L-L and add a ball when fewer than four are active.
When the mini timer expires, return attention to the main playfield and finish the lit family shots for the Super Jackpot.
Alternative route: Fart Multiball and TV modes
Use this when the captive-ball rebounds or mini-playfield are unreliable.
- Clear the F-A-R-T four-bank to advance Fart Multiball.
- Shoot the spinner target or right orbit to light the TV scoop.
- Start a TV mode at the scoop before multiball when stacking is allowed.
- If Crazy Chris is progressing, start Fart Multiball as protection. Crazy Chris continues during Fart, which also offers an add-a-ball.
- Use Death's raised post as a temporary center save when it is available.
