Flight 2000 pinball rules and strategy
The Strategy
Flight 2000 uses B-L-A-S-T-O-F-F to enable three locks that must be taken in descending 5-4-3-2-1 order. Build the right spinner first, complete B-L-A-S-T-O-F-F, take the three locks, then repeat the left spinner during Multiball.
The goal
Build the right spinner with its three-bank, complete B-L-A-S-T-O-F-F, lock three balls in descending order, then repeat the left spinner during Multiball.
From the right flipper, shoot the left orbit through the spinner and try to sweep its three-bank.
Repeat until the bank lamps are complete and the spinner scores 5,000.
Complete B-L-A-S-T-O-F-F through the top lanes, two B standups, and return lanes.
After BLASTOFF, use the top-left lock chutes and complete the descending 5-4-3-2-1 order.
Make the final required lock to start three-ball Multiball.
During Multiball, repeat the left spinner and rebuild BLASTOFF while the extra balls protect the shot.
Alternative route: Right-spinner control
Use this when the numbered lock targets or BLASTOFF standups are unsafe.
- Stop forcing the unsafe target.
- Repeat the left orbit through the right spinner.
- Use natural top and return-lane movement for BLASTOFF letters.
- Keep building and cashing the spinner when Multiball is distant or a lead only needs separation.
- Return to BLASTOFF and lock work only when the remaining qualifications are close and controllable, or when the Multiball ceiling is needed.
Need to know
- Right spinner
- Its three-bank raises the spinner from 500 to 5,000, and a clean sweep awards 50,000.
- BLASTOFF
- Top lanes, standups, and return lanes complete B-L-A-S-T-O-F-F and enable the three-ball lock sequence.
- Ball locks
- After BLASTOFF, the top-left chutes lock balls through the 5-4-3-2-1 sequence.
