Gold Rush / Yukon / Klondike pinball rules and strategy
The Strategy
In Gold Rush, Yukon, or Klondike, shoot up top to advance the three slot reels. A wagon is wild. When the reels show a valuable match, stop changing them and shoot the center saucer to collect the raised value. If the center post is up, let it stop the ball before flipping.
The goal
Advance only the reel that can improve the current match. Collect ordinary mixed reels for 500, hats for 3,000, pans for 4,000, and lantern or wagon combinations for 5,000 on the common card; another installed card can raise those top awards substantially.
Soft-plunge for the top-right collect lane if the inherited reel value is already above 500.
While the reels are mixed, shoot up top and advance only the reel that can create or improve a match.
Treat a wagon as wild with a matching pair of hats, pans, or lanterns.
Once a high-value match is showing, stop changing the reels and shoot the center collect saucer.
When a side lane raises the center post, let the ball settle against it before making a controlled micro-flip.
