Hollywood Heat pinball rules and strategy

Use the right orbit to reach the upper playfield and make both lock shots, then shoot the red ramp for three-ball Multiball. Build the Multiball Bonus first by completing targets 1 through 7 or the three top lanes, then keep hitting switches during Multiball.

The goal

Reach the upper playfield through the right orbit, fill its two locks, then shoot the red ramp for three-ball Multiball. Build the Multiball Bonus with targets 1 through 7 or the top lanes before starting.

  1. Shoot the right orbit to reach the upper playfield, then make its two lock shots.

  2. Before releasing the locks, complete targets 1 through 7 or all three top lanes to raise the Multiball Bonus multiplier.

  3. Shoot the red ramp after both locks are filled to release them and start three-ball Multiball.

  4. During Multiball, work the upper playfield, drop banks, and Heat bumper for repeated multiplied switch scoring.

Machine setup

  • Confirm three- versus five-ball scoring, Extra Ball and Special conversions, lock sharing, and Multiball Bonus carry between balls.
  • Test the right-orbit upper-playfield feed, both upper lock shots and releases, red ramp, targets 1–7, top lanes, both drop banks, and Heat bumper.
