Hoops pinball rules and strategy

The Strategy

Move the lit top lane with the flipper buttons and roll through it to light lock, then shoot a flashing saucer; the left saucer is usually easiest. The first lock starts two-ball Multiball. Re-lock both balls in the saucers for Super Slam, then choose 1,000,000 points unless your basket bonus is already very large.

The goal

Roll through the lit top lane to light lock, then shoot a flashing saucer; the first lock starts two-ball Multiball. Re-lock both balls for Super Slam and normally take 1,000,000 points. Repeat on the same ball for a two-lock, three-ball Multiball.

  1. Use the flipper buttons to move the lit top lane, then roll through that lane to light lock.

  2. Shoot a flashing lock shot; the left saucer is normally the most controllable choice. The first lock on the ball starts two-ball Multiball.

  3. During Multiball, send both balls back into the saucers to collect Super Slam.

  4. Choose 1,000,000 points instead of 20 baskets unless your current basket bonus is already large enough to justify the long game.

  5. If the same ball continues, repeat the qualification and lock two balls; the next Multiball is three-ball, with a 3,000,000-or-50-basket Super Slam choice.
