Indianapolis 500 pinball rules and strategy

The Strategy

Indianapolis 500 uses the left orbit to feed two Turbo locks and start a three-ball ramp-Jackpot Multiball. Prepare 3x Playfield first when possible, start Turbo Multiball, and park a ball only when the higher Jackpot and extra control justify reducing active balls.

The goal

Feed the upper-right flipper from the left orbit for two Turbo locks, start 3x playfield scoring before Two upper locks start three-ball play. Both ramps light first, then the Jackpot alternates. when ready, then collect ramp Jackpots and park balls only when relocking improves value and control.

  1. Make the left-ramp skill shot after launch. Then shoot the left orbit to light the first Turbo lock.

  2. Use the upper-right flipper to shoot Turbo. Repeat the left-orbit and upper-Turbo sequence for the second lock.

  3. When 3x Playfield is ready and safe to start, activate it immediately before the multiball conversion.

  4. During Two upper locks start three-ball play. Both ramps light first, then the Jackpot alternates., collect the two initially lit ramp Jackpots. Continue at the alternating lit ramp.
