Jet Spin / Super Spin pinball rules and strategy

In Jet Spin and Super Spin, shoot the center face of the roto-target for ten times its displayed value and one to five Bonus advances. Build Bonus to 15,000 to light the red center insert. When the star face is showing, hit the center roto-target for Special. A lit top rollover also advances Bonus and spins the target.

The goal

Favor the roto-target and the narrow left bullseye when their rebounds return safely. Use lit top rollovers to add Bonus and change the roto face. Once Bonus reaches its 15,000 maximum, wait for the star to face forward, then hit the center roto-target to collect Special.

  1. Shoot the center face of the roto-target to score ten times the displayed value and add one to five Bonus advances.

  2. Plunge or send the ball through a lit top rollover to advance Bonus and rotate the target.

  3. Repeat those shots until Bonus reaches its 15,000 maximum and the red center roto insert lights.

  4. Wait until the star face is centered, then hit the center roto-target to score Special.

Machine setup

  • Confirm three- or five-ball play, the operator-selected stand-up and vari-target awards, Special conversion, Bonus persistence, and the scoring thresholds that light side targets.
  • Test all three roto faces and lamps, the vari-target travel, left bullseye, right saucer, three top rollover switches, Bonus unit, two pop bumpers, and both flippers.
