Lady Luck / Fortune pinball rules and strategy
Strategy summary
The goal
The card ranks light matching targets in the right bank. Lit targets build the bonus shown above the flippers. The captive-ball ramp on the left scores 50,000 points and enables double bonus or awards an extra ball when qualified.
Card ranks: The four top rollovers collect A, K, Q and J; the small target at the upper right collects 10. The five star rollovers down the left side collect the same ranks. Each rank lights its matching target in the right bank.
Right target bank: Hit a lit target in the angled bank on the right to score 5,000 points and advance bonus. The card-shaped lights left of center show which ranks are collected. Watch the bonus ladder above the flippers for the accumulated value.
Captive-ball ramp: Shoot the ball held in the narrow ramp on the left, driving it into the large target at the ramp's upper end. Activating that target scores 50,000 points. The ramp also collects the qualified double-bonus and extra-ball features.
Double bonus: Collect all five card ranks to light their matching targets, then activate the captive-ball ramp target. This enables double bonus for the end-of-ball collection. Completing the ranks qualifies the ramp; the ramp hit activates the award.
Extra ball: Build bonus until the ramp's extra-ball feature is lit, then activate its captive-ball target to collect. The qualifying bonus level is adjustable. An earned extra ball gives another ball to play; settings can prevent earning a further extra ball during it.
Bonus collection: After a normal drain, the machine counts down the accumulated bonus and adds it to the score before serving the next ball. If double bonus was activated at the ramp, that collection is doubled. The last ball ends the game after collection.
