Laser Ball pinball rules and strategy
The Strategy
Laser Ball uses numbered top lanes and star rollovers to raise an A-E value, then B-A-L-L collects it. Return upstairs until all ten numbers have been completed five times, finish B-A-L-L for the 60K collect, and work on Bonus X only after base bonus is large.
The goal
Return the ball to the numbered top lanes, raise and collect the AE value through Shows B-A-L-L drop bank on the Laser Ball playfield. The upper-right bank collects the currently built AE value when completed., and pursue Bonus X only after the base bonus is large.
Plunge for a Shows Numbered top lanes on the Laser Ball playfield. The ten numbered lanes across the upper playfield build the current AE set. that you still need.
Repeat the two Shows Left and right top-return orbits on the Laser Ball playfield. The two outside shots return the ball to the numbered upper lanes. to return the ball to the top lanes.
Complete numbers 1-10 to raise the AE value by 10K.
After the AE value is useful, complete Shows B-A-L-L drop bank on the Laser Ball playfield. The upper-right bank collects the currently built AE value when completed. to collect it.
Build the base bonus through top returns, outlanes, the left standup, and Shows B-A-L-L drop bank on the Laser Ball playfield. The upper-right bank collects the currently built AE value when completed..
When the base bonus is large, shoot the safer Bonus X feature to reach 5x.
Make one more Bonus X shot to light the spinners, then repeat the safer spinner.
Alternative route: Opposite-orbit route
Use this when one orbit return or one lower-flipper shot is unreliable.
- Use the orbit that reaches the top with the safer return.
- Move the cabinet briefly so the playfield shifts under the ball, changing its speed or path after contact with a post, rubber, or wall. toward a missing numbered lane because the game has no lane change.
- Let bumper action collect incidental Shows B-A-L-L drop bank on the Laser Ball playfield. The upper-right bank collects the currently built AE value when completed. and saucer progress.
- Stop using the orbit if its top exit begins to feed an outlane.

- Top lanes can score one or two needed numbers, and the ten Shows Center numbered star rollovers on the Laser Ball playfield. The ten center stars score individual numbers but expose dangerous rebounds. score one number each.
- AE value
- Each completed set of ten numbers raises the AE value by 10K, from 10K to a maximum of 60K.
- B-A-L-L
- Complete the upper-right Shows B-A-L-L drop bank on the Laser Ball playfield. The upper-right bank collects the currently built AE value when completed. drop targets to collect the current AE value.
