Liberty Bell pinball rules and strategy

In Liberty Bell, shoot either spinner to build Bonus. Complete the B-E or L-L target pair to raise the top eject value and light both side ejects. Shoot a lit side eject to activate Double Bonus. Keep using the spinners, but collect Double Bonus once the base Bonus is large enough to justify the side shot.

The goal

Send the ball through the spinners while watching for incidental B-E and L-L completions. Those pairs increase the top eject award and light the side ejects. Once a side eject is lit and the base Bonus is substantial, make that collect before returning to spinner shots.

  1. Shoot either spinner to advance Bonus and keep the ball in the upper playfield.

  2. Complete the B-E pair or the L-L pair to light both side ejects and raise the top eject value.

  3. Continue spinner shots while the base Bonus is still small.

  4. When a side eject is lit and the accumulated Bonus is valuable, shoot that eject to activate Double Bonus.

  5. Return to the spinners and the growing top eject after securing the multiplier.

Machine setup

  • Confirm three- or five-ball play because spinner and bumper values change, then confirm Double Bonus behavior, Extra Ball or Special conversion, and the adjustment for the third or fourth star award.
  • Test both spinners, all four B-E-L-L targets, both side ejects, the top eject and its value lamps, Bonus unit, bottom rollover lanes, and pop bumpers.
