Lightning Ball pinball rules and strategy

The goal

Complete the three lightning colors to add letters to LIGHTNING BALL. Finish numbers 1–6 to earn a replay and light both gobble holes for Special.

  1. Add a letter: Complete the green, yellow and blue lightning contacts through their rollovers or rebound rubber. Completing all three adds one letter to LIGHTNING BALL on the backglass.

  2. Finish the name: Completing LIGHTNING BALL awards one replay. Afterward, each further completion of all three lightning colors awards another replay.

  3. Light Special: Complete numbered rollovers 1–6 to earn one replay and light both gobble holes for Special.

  4. Collect Special: Enter either gobble hole while Special is lit to collect one replay. The ball ends in the hole.

Need to know
Gobble holes
The two holes halfway down the sides end the ball. Each scores 100,000 points for each completed numbered rollover; a lit Special awards a replay.
