Strategy summary

The goal

Send a ball through the Free-Ball Gate, then use the three yellow controls to advance it down the Free-Ball Alley. Lit A–D rollovers qualify the lower Special outlanes for a mystery light-up.

  1. Open the Free-Ball Gate: Roll over the top button above A–D, or through the upper left lane, while its Opens Free Ball Gate light is lit. This opens the gate on the upper right.

  2. Capture a ball: Shoot through the open upper right Free-Ball Gate to put a ball into the Free-Ball Alley beside the shooter lane. The ball remains there until advanced toward the exit.

  3. Advance the captured ball: Hit either yellow mushroom bumper or roll through the yellow right-side lane to turn off its light. Any two yellow lights out advances the captive ball down the Free-Ball Alley; its final exit scores 100 points.

  4. Qualify the Special outlanes: Roll through lit A or C to qualify the right Special outlane for a mystery light-up. Lit B or D qualifies the left Special outlane. Qualification does not mean that Special is already lit.

  5. Collect Special: Roll through a lower outlane while its Special light is on to collect the configured award. Check the light on that side before treating the outlane as a Special shot.
