Maverick pinball rules and strategy
The Strategy
Clear only the flashing drop-target bank to win poker chips; unrelated drops spend your limited discards. Five chips start the current mode, while the right ramp lights Lock and the right orbit locks balls for Multiball.
The goal
Concentrate on the flashing poker bank and fold at the VUK when the required targets are too dangerous. Use the right ramp to light Lock, shoot the right orbit to load balls, and enter Multiball during Coop’s Cash or Bank Heist when the stack is available.
Read which drop-target bank is flashing, then clear only that bank. Unrelated target hits normally reduce the discard counter, and the hand is lost when it reaches zero.
Shoot the VUK before the hand ends to Raise or Fold. Raise only when the remaining targets are controlled; fold a dangerous hand to preserve the current winning streak.
After an inlane, shoot the VUK while its dollar chip briefly flashes to spot the lowest remaining card in the current hand.
Shoot the right ramp until the display says Lock is lit, then shoot the right orbit. The ramp count is set by the operator, so follow the display rather than expecting one fixed count.
After the second lock, plunge the second hole to start four-ball Multiball when offered. If it is missed, light and lock a third ball to start Multiball.
During Multiball, shoot the ramp for three Jackpots, then shoot the captive ball for the Super Jackpot. If the Multiball ends early, shoot the right orbit during the restart timer.
