Melody Lane pinball rules and strategy

Strategy summary

The goal

Spin the Roto-Targets with the two top bumpers, then hit a target whose color matches the lit color lamp for 10 times its value.

  1. Change the targets: Hit either of the two white bumpers marked SPIN at the top to rotate the Roto-Targets. The rotating target assembly sits beneath the musical-note plastic in the middle of the playfield.

  2. Match the lit color: Read the colored lamps below the Roto-Targets. These light in sequence. Hit a target whose color matches the lit lamp to score 10 times that target’s value.

  3. Collect a hole value: Shoot either kick-out hole below the Roto-Target assembly to score the indicated target value, from 10 to 30 points. These holes kick the ball back into play.

Need to know
Target multiplier
The 10× award requires a matching target color. The two kick-out holes collect target values without that color-match multiplier.
