Monster Bash pinball rules and strategy

The Strategy

Monster Bash uses six monster modes whose starts lead to Monster Bash and whose completed objectives lead to Monsters of Rock. Prepare Bride, Wolf Man, and Creature while leaving Frankenstein one hit away, start those modes, then finish Frankenstein and use Multiball to work on their shots.

The goal

Shoot the Creature saucer or the orbits for one safe monster mode, lower Frankenstein for Multiball, then use the extra balls to finish the mode and collect Jackpots.

  1. Start a monster mode

Shoot the Creature saucer to start The first major shot locks a hurry-up value; the next four shots score that value at 2x through 5x., or make four orbit shots to start Four orbit shots start four decreasing orbit hurry-ups; collect all four for the Wolf Man instrument.. During the mode, follow its lit major shots.

  2. Start Frankenstein Multiball

Hit the Frankenstein standup until the body lowers, then shoot the exposed ramp to start Three balls play lit major-shot jackpots; the Frankenstein shot scores Super Jackpot..

  3. Use the overlap

During Multiball, shoot major shots that also finish the running mode. Lit major shots score regular Jackpots, and the Frankenstein ramp scores the Super Jackpot.

Alternative route: Mosh Pit Multiball

Use this when the center spinner returns more safely than Frankenstein.

  1. Shoot the center spinner six times, then shoot the scoop to start Mosh Pit Multiball.
  2. Shoot the spinner twice to add two balls, then repeat the Frankenstein ramp toward the Mosh Pit Super.
