Monte Carlo pinball rules and strategy

The Strategy

Lock a ball in each of the three flashing roulette saucers; the third lock starts Multiball. Cover roulette numbers with flashing targets and collect the Bet Pool by landing on a covered number or shooting the left ramp. Take the right ramp when it flashes for 10,000,000.

The goal

Fill the three flashing roulette saucers to start Multiball. Build the Bet Pool with flashing number targets and collect it on a covered roulette number or the left ramp; take the timed right-ramp 10,000,000 when lit.

  1. Shoot a flashing roulette saucer to lock a ball and spin the roulette display.

  2. Fill all three flashing saucers; the third lock starts Multiball.

  3. Shoot flashing number targets to cover roulette numbers and grow the Bet Pool.

  4. Collect the Bet Pool by landing on a covered roulette number or shooting the left ramp; shoot the right ramp whenever its 10,000,000 lamp flashes.

Machine setup

  • Confirm three- versus five-ball rules, Extra Ball and Special conversions, shared locks, and the operator-set interval for the right-ramp 10,000,000 lamp.
  • Test all three saucers and lock releases, roulette display, number targets and lamps, both ramps, Bet Pool collect, top lanes, trough, and live-ball multiplier behavior.
