Mr. Evil pinball rules and strategy

Strategy summary

The goal

Completing either three-target bank advances a repeating award cycle. The captive balls first offer 50,000 points, then Extra Ball and Double Bonus, and finally Special and Double Bonus.

  1. Drop banks: Knock down all three targets in either bank. Each target scores 5,000 and advances bonus. Completing either bank raises both banks and advances the award cycle.

  2. First completion: Completing either bank once lights 50,000 at both captive balls. Hit either captive ball while its 50,000 light is on to collect those points.

  3. Rollover awards: The first bank completion also lights the rollovers marked Extra Ball and Double Bonus. Roll through a lit award lane to collect its extra ball or doubled bonus.

  4. Second completion: Completing either bank again lights Extra Ball at the left captive ball and Double Bonus at the right captive ball. Hit the captive ball with the lit award to collect it.

  5. Third completion: Complete either bank a third time to light Special at the left captive ball and Double Bonus at the right captive ball. Hit the lit captive ball to collect its award.

  6. Restarting the cycle: Collecting Special at the left captive ball restarts the bank-completion cycle. Completing a bank a fourth time also restarts it.
