Nine Ball pinball rules and strategy

The Strategy

Hit the center skill-shot standup to set the spinner to 2,500, then shoot the spinner. Complete both three-banks for Bonus X, and build the upper-left horseshoe to 173,000 before collecting it. Advance numbers 1 through 8, then score the flashing ninth target; locked balls determine whether that starts Multiball.

The goal

Use the skill shot to maximize the spinner, complete both three-banks for 7x Bonus, and delay the horseshoe collect until 173,000. Build 1 through 9 with locks ready for Multiball.

  1. On the plunge, hit the center standup below the upper flipper to set the spinner to 2,500, then shoot the spinner before a weak spin resets it.

  2. Complete both three-target banks to advance Bonus X toward 7x.

  3. Loop the upper-left horseshoe until its value reaches 173,000, then collect it rather than taking the earlier steps.

  4. Advance numbered targets 1 through 8, then hit the randomly flashing target for 9; with one lock this starts two-ball Multiball, and with two locks it starts three-ball.
