Ninja Eclipse pinball rules and strategy
The Strategy
An Obake battle can continue during Ninja Storm Multiball, while three Sword-ramp loops start 1.5x playfield scoring. Knock down the Castle Gate target and shoot into the castle to choose Battle 1. Hit both Backflip standups and shoot the Iga ramp for each lock; the third lock starts Multiball.
The goal
Knock down the Castle Gate target and shoot into the castle for Battle 1. Hit the Backflip standups and shoot the Iga ramp for Ninja Storm locks, or loop the Sword ramp for playfield X.
How to start a mode
Knock down the Castle Gate target, then shoot into the castle. Choose Battle 1; the numbered battles become harder as the numbers rise.
Recommended mode: Battle 1
Choose Battle 1 because it is the first and easiest numbered battle.
How to play it
At battle start, hit the flashing Jonin target beneath the Iga ramp to double battle scoring. Complete the lit battle shots, then shoot the castle for the final Super Jackpot.
Start Ninja Storm Multiball
Hit both standup targets beside the Backflip ramp to light a lock, then shoot the Iga ramp to collect it. Repeat for three locks; the third lock starts Ninja Storm Multiball.
Start playfield X
Loop the Sword ramp without hitting another shot: three loops start 1.5x, five start 2x, and seven start 3x playfield scoring for 30 seconds.
Alternative route: Spirit Multiball
Use this when the spinners and Shrine scoop are safer than the Backflip targets and Iga ramp.
- Use spinner hits to locate bells and shoot the Shrine scoop to collect them. After all twelve bells, charge the Newton ball from either spinner and hit it when it turns red.
- Lock the ball at the castle, then knock down the castle gate to start Spirit Multiball.

- Hit the Backflip standups to light locks, then lock three balls on the Iga ramp.

- The hidden Jonin target briefly doubles battle scoring when each battle starts.
Ninja Eclipse allows an Obake battle to continue during Ninja Storm Multiball. - Hit both standups beside the Backflip ramp to light a Ninja Storm lock, then shoot the Iga ramp to collect it. Repeat for a second lock.
- Knock down the Castle Gate target, shoot into the castle, and choose Akkorokamui; one of its required ramp shots also collects an Iga-ramp lock.
- At the start of the battle, hit the flashing Jonin target beneath the Iga ramp to double battle scoring.
- Hit the Backflip standups to light another lock, then shoot the Iga ramp for the third lock and start Ninja Storm Multiball while Akkorokamui is running.
- Hit each blue major shot to turn it pink. Pink shots score repeatable Jackpots until all major shots are pink.
- Loop the Sword ramp for repeatable Super Jackpots. Consecutive Sword-ramp loops also start and raise the timed playfield multiplier.
- Use the first Mystery during multiball or complete Firestorm for one available add-a-ball.

Builds toward: Oni Nisshoku
- Defeat all eight Obake bosses in one game to unlock Oni Nisshoku.
- Completing the game also enables the Dragon Kami.
