Playboy 35th Anniversary pinball rules and strategy

Lock two balls in the Grotto, then shoot either ramp for three-ball Multiball. During Multiball, every ramp scores a Jackpot and advances P-I-N-B-A-L-L; finish the word to light Extra Ball at the spinner. Repeated ramps also spell M-A-N-S-I-O-N for a timed value on the next ramp.

The goal

Lock two balls in the Grotto, then shoot either ramp for three-ball Multiball. Every Multiball ramp scores a Jackpot and advances P-I-N-B-A-L-L. Spell M-A-N-S-I-O-N outside Multiball, then shoot a ramp for its falling value.

  1. Shoot two balls into the Grotto to fill both locks.

  2. With both balls locked, shoot either ramp to release them and start three-ball Multiball.

  3. During Multiball, repeat either ramp for Jackpots and one P-I-N-B-A-L-L letter per shot.

  4. Complete P-I-N-B-A-L-L to light Extra Ball at the spinner.

Machine setup

  • Confirm extra-ball, playfield-multiplier duration, and Jackpot settings before competitive play.
