ROCs pinball rules and strategy

The Strategy

Shoot every ROC before it reaches the power source. Use the side targets to fire lasers, collect displayed power-ups, then shoot the raised scoop after the screen is clear to start the next level.

The goal

Destroy the approaching ROCs, using side-target lasers and power-ups before they damage the power source and weaken the flippers. Clear the screen, then shoot the raised scoop to advance.

  1. Aim physical shots through the on-screen ROCs before they reach the protected power source.

  2. When a large ROC splits, clear the smaller pieces before returning to threats that remain far from the power source.

  3. Use the side targets to fire lasers across crowded parts of the screen, and collect the displayed power-up shots when offered.

  4. Protect the power source: each breach can damage the flippers and make them weaker.

  5. After no ROCs remain, shoot the raised scoop shown by the game to begin the next level.

Need to know
ROCs
Hit the on-screen rocks before they cross the playfield and reach the power source. Large ROCs split into smaller ones.
Lasers
Hit the side targets to fire across the screen and remove threats that are difficult to reach directly.
Power source
ROCs that break through cause damage and reduce flipper strength, making the wave harder to recover.
