Select-A-Card pinball rules and strategy

Strategy summary

The goal

Choose a card before the first ball, then light all of its numbers with the numbered targets and bumpers. Completing the card in fewer balls earns more replays.

  1. Choose a card: Before shooting the first ball, turn the selector knob on the front of the cabinet to choose card A, B, C or D on the backglass.

  2. Launch the ball: Watch the moving range pointer near the lower flippers. Press a button on the side of the cabinet to fire the oscillating turret shooter; the side buttons also operate the flippers.

  3. Light the card: Hit the numbered targets across the top and the numbered rubber bumpers along the sides to light the matching numbers on your selected card.

  4. Complete the card: Light every number on the selected card to earn replays. The award increases when you complete the card using fewer balls.
