Silverball Mania pinball rules and strategy

Shoot the tight center horseshoe to raise Bonus X toward 5x, light the center-bottom kicker, and add one or two SILVERBALL MANIA letters. Complete the title to light one spinner for 1,000 per spin. After reaching 5x, shoot the horseshoe once more to light the center target for the configured Extra Ball or point award.

The goal

Treat the horseshoe as the primary shot because it multiplies the carried base bonus and advances the title without relying on outlanes. When the title completes, switch briefly to the lit spinner; take the center target only after the extra horseshoe lights its award.

  1. From a controlled ball, shoot the center horseshoe to raise Bonus X and add SILVERBALL MANIA letters.

  2. Repeat the horseshoe while it returns safely; a full trip across both internal rollovers awards two letters.

  3. When SILVERBALL MANIA is complete, shoot the lit spinner for 1,000 per spin.

  4. After Bonus X reaches 5x, make one more horseshoe, then hit the lit center target for the configured Extra Ball or point award.

Machine setup

  • Test the center horseshoe and both internal rollovers, all SILVERBALL MANIA letter switches and lamps, both spinners and their alternating light, center-bottom kicker and eject, center target, top lanes, and the full bonus and multiplier ladders.
  • Confirm three- or five-ball play, replay, Extra Ball, or novelty settings; whether the 5x center-target award is enabled; Special behavior; title-letter and base-bonus carryover; and whether larger rubbers make the horseshoe materially narrower than factory geometry.
