Spirit pinball rules and strategy

The Strategy

Shoot a lit Capture Hole to lock a ball. Complete the 1-4 spot targets, then shoot the lit green X at the Roundabout to open the Stargate. Shoot the open Stargate for two-ball Multiball with zero or one captured ball, or three-ball Multiball with two captured balls; filling all three Capture Holes also starts three-ball Multiball.

The goal

Take a safe lit Capture Hole first, qualify the Stargate through 1-4 and the green X, then choose a fast two-ball start or wait for two locks and a stronger three-ball start.

  1. Shoot whichever unoccupied Capture Hole is lit to lock a ball.

  2. Complete spot targets 1, 2, 3, and 4 to light the green X at the Roundabout.

  3. Shoot the lit green X to open the Stargate, then shoot through the open gate.

  4. Use zero or one captured ball for two-ball Multiball, or arrive with two captured balls for three-ball Multiball; three filled Capture Holes also start three-ball play.
