Stampede / Rawhide pinball rules and strategy

The Strategy

In Stampede and Rawhide, shoot through the spinner toward the top hole while its return is controlled. The center targets change the feature panel, and the top and center holes collect its lit feature, including Double Bonus when lit. Return lanes, outlanes and three rollover buttons advance Bonus; outlane scoring is incidental, not a shot to seek.

The goal

Shoot through the spinner toward the top hole while its return is controlled. Collect the changing saucer features along the way; a saucer awards Double Bonus when that feature is lit.

  1. Shoot through the spinner toward the top hole while its return is controlled.

    • The top and center holes collect the currently lit panel feature. Either awards Double Bonus when that feature is lit.
    • Return lanes, outlanes and the three rollover buttons advance Bonus. Build it through controlled play; do not aim for an outlane.
  2. Take the captive ball only after the horseshoe target has raised its lit value enough to justify the rebound.

  • Stampede is the two-player version and Rawhide is the four-player version. Confirm the exact title, ball count, feature-card behavior, Extra Ball conversion, and whether the Extra lane award is active.
  • Test all three Bonus rollovers, return and outlane advances, center feature targets, panel sequencing, both saucers, Light Double Bonus collection, top-hole spinner, captive ball and horseshoe value, Extra lane, end-of-ball Bonus, and every kickout feed.
