Sunset pinball rules and strategy

Strategy summary

The goal

Shoot the captive balls in the center Boost-A-Ball track. Moving them around the track scores points; moving all of them to the lighted side awards a replay. Colored targets also light matching bumpers and kickers for higher scores.

  1. Move the captive balls: Shoot the exposed balls at the bottom of the center track. Sending a captive ball around the track scores 100 points.

  2. Collect the Special: Check which side’s Special light is on beneath the track. Move all the captive balls to that lighted side to score one replay.

  3. Raise the other scores: Hit the colored targets to light the corresponding bumpers and kickers. Read the matching colored inserts and bumper caps for their lit values.
