Tag-Team Pinball rules and strategy
The Strategy
Tag-Team Pinball uses the T-A-G and T-E-A-M target banks to light two saucer locks. Complete the letters in order, lock one ball in each saucer, shoot Release for three-ball Multiball, then use the left return lane to light the right spinner for 30,000 per spin.
The goal
Lock one ball at each saucer, shoot Release for three-ball Multiball and 3x scoring, then use the lit right spinner and upper-left saucer.
Lock both balls
Complete T-A-G from left to right and shoot the lit upper-left lock saucer. Complete T-E-A-M in order and shoot the lit lower-right lock saucer.
Start Multiball
After both balls are locked, shoot the left Release horseshoe to start three-ball Multiball and 3x playfield scoring.
Use the spinner and top lanes
Roll through the left return lane, then shoot the lit right spinner for 30,000 per spin. Shoot the upper-left lock saucer from the right flipper, then shoot the gate to the top lanes and clear all three lit lanes to raise Bonus X.

- Locks
- Completing T-A-G left to right lights the upper-left lock saucer. Completing T-E-A-M in order lights the lower-right lock saucer.
- Three-ball Multiball
- After both balls are locked, Release starts three-ball play with 3x playfield scoring.
- Lit right spinner
- The left return lane lights the right spinner briefly for 10,000 per spin, or 30,000 during Multiball.

- Complete the T-A-G drop targets from left to right, then shoot the lit upper-left lock saucer.
Complete the T-A-G drop targets from left to right, then…
- Build the T-A-G lock first. While a ball is held there, the lit left outlane releases that ball and continues play as Last Chance.
- Complete the lower-right T-E-A-M drop targets in order, then shoot the lit lower-right lock saucer.
- After both balls are locked, shoot the left Release horseshoe to start three-ball Multiball and 3x playfield scoring.
- During Multiball, roll through the left return lane to light the right spinner, then shoot the lit spinner for 30,000 per spin.
- During Multiball, shoot the upper-left lock saucer from the right flipper. After its kickout, shoot the gate to the top lanes and roll through each lit lane. Clearing all three raises Bonus X; at 5x, the lit top lane awards Special.
Top-player proof
- At Arcade Expo 2019, Karl DeAngelo and the other finalists built the T-A-G lock before T-E-A-M, then used three-ball play for the lit right spinner at 30,000 per spin.
- At the Arcade Expo semifinal, Karl DeAngelo, Mark Gilmore, David Oliver, and Gene Lewin held a lock for left-outlane protection and repeatedly shot the lit spinner.
- Extra Ball and Special were each worth 500,000 on that event's novelty settings.
