Time Tunnel pinball rules and strategy
The Strategy
In Time Tunnel, time the plunge so the shooter-lane tunnel timer switch freezes the value at 5,000, then reach the top center lane to collect it. During play, collect 3,000 or more at the center target, left chute, top lane, or either open gate; use the upper playfield to change low values.
The goal
A low tunnel value is not worth forcing at the dangerous center standup. Send the ball up top, use the start-tunnel saucers to change it, and collect a favorable value through safer lanes or gates whenever possible.
Watch the tunnel lamps, then plunge so the shooter-lane switch stops the value at 5,000 before the ball reaches the top center lane.
Collect the stopped value through the top center lane if the plunge continues cleanly.
During play, take the center collect target only with a controlled, slightly off-center hit and a value of at least 3,000.
At 1,000 or 2,000, shoot up top and use a start-tunnel saucer to change the value and open a gate.
Prefer the left collect chute or either open gate over a dangerous center-target attempt.
