Advance the football: Hit either Advance target or either white Advance rollover button to move the football toward the goal. Each hit advances 15 yards in three-ball play or 5 yards in five-ball play, until a touchdown is made.

Touchdown and conversion: Reach the goal to score six football points and light both outlanes for one point. A ball through either lit outlane scores the conversion. Taking a kickoff from the eject hole turns off the conversion lights.

Field goal: Advance to the 50-yard line to light alternating lower outlanes for a field goal. A ball through the lit field-goal outlane scores three football points. This opportunity lasts until a touchdown is made.

Kickoff: After a touchdown, shoot the center eject hole while lit for Kickoff to restart the football. The return reaches at least the 20-yard line and may reach the goal. A drain after a touchdown also triggers a kickoff.

500-point hole: Hit either upper target to light the center eject hole for 500 main-score points. Shoot the hole while its 500-point light is on to collect.

Outlane Special: Score 16 football points in three-ball play or 26 in five-ball play to light alternating lower outlanes for Special. A ball through the lit Special outlane collects the award. The Special award depends on the machine’s settings.
