Twilight Zone pinball rules and strategy
The Strategy
In Twilight Zone, load and release the Powerball, then shoot its lit right orbit for Powerball Mania. When the normal ramp feeds are safer, complete both ramps and return to the left ramp for Multiball instead.
The goal
Use both ramps to release the Powerball, start Powerball Mania at the lit right orbit, then alternate the The upper exit scores 50,000,000 during Powerball Mania. with its left-ramp relight.
Release the Powerball
Shoot both ramps to spell GUMBALL. Keep loading the Completed ramp letters load a ball. Continued cycles return the loaded balls until the ceramic Powerball enters play. until it releases the ceramic Powerball.
Start Powerball Mania
After the Powerball reaches the left flipper, shoot it through the lit right orbit and into the Completed ramp letters load a ball. Continued cycles return the loaded balls until the ceramic Powerball enters play. to start Powerball Mania.
Repeat the Jackpot cycle
Shoot the right ramp into the Powerfield and reach the upper exit for Jackpot. Shoot the left ramp to relight it, then repeat.
Alternative route: Normal Multiball
Use this when the Powerball, right ramp, or Powerfield is unreliable.
- Complete both ramps, collect the lit Lock Lane, then shoot the left ramp to start Multiball.
- Shoot the Piano for Jackpot and the Camera to relight it. Repeat the pair.
Need to know
- Powerball Mania
- Load and release the ceramic Powerball, then shoot its lit right orbit to start the timed scoring mode.
- Powerfield Jackpot
- Enter the Powerfield from the right ramp and reach its upper exit for the Mania Jackpot.
- Normal Multiball
- Complete both ramps, collect locks, and use the left ramp to start Multiball.
In Twilight Zone, standard Rounds can run with normal Multiball but not with another Multiball. Release the Powerball and start Powerball Mania at the right orbit, then repeat the Powerfield Jackpot and relight at the left ramp. Use the normal lock route when ramp, Piano, and Camera feeds are more controlled.

- Protect the end-of-ball bonus. Powerball Mania scoring is banked in bonus and a tilt removes it.
Builds toward: Lost in the Zone
- Collect Door Panels from the Door and other available awards.
- Complete all 14 Door Panels.
- Start Lost in the Zone. Do not use this long build as the opening plan unless the match position requires it.
