Strategy summary
The goal
Push either moving vari-target to position 6 to enable the center extra-ball target and the 50,000-point lanes. Side lanes and vari-targets build the bonus paid after a drain. Double Bonus and Special also require the machine's configured bonus level.
Vari-targets: The two moving targets sit midway up the playfield, one on each side. Push either target to position 6 to enable the center extra-ball target and both 50,000-point lanes. Position 6 describes target travel, not six separate hits.
Center extra ball: Once either vari-target has reached position 6, hit the small center standup target below the two pop bumpers to earn an extra ball. The moving target enables the award; the center target collects it.
50,000-point lanes: After reaching position 6 on either vari-target, roll through a lane marked 50,000 to collect that score. This also clears the qualification shared with the center extra-ball target. Reach position 6 again to re-enable those awards.
Bonus: The upper and middle side lanes, plus vari-target scoring, advance the bonus. The game counts down and pays the accumulated bonus after the ball drains. Double Bonus doubles this payout when active.
Double Bonus: Enable the position-6 awards with either vari-target and build the bonus to the operator-set qualifying level. Then roll through a Double Bonus lane to activate the doubled end-of-ball payout. Reaching position 6 alone does not collect it.
Special: This also requires a vari-target to have reached position 6 and the bonus to reach its configured qualifying level. Collect through a lane marked Special. Its qualifying bonus setting is separate from Double Bonus.
Qualification between balls: With three balls selected, the position-6 qualification lasts until a 50,000-point lane collects it. With five balls selected, it also clears when the ball drains. Check the lit awards before attempting the center target or a 50,000-point lane.
Need to know
- Start
- With a credit available, press the start button and wait for the score and bonus to reset before launching. This single-player game has two flippers. The operator selects three or five balls.
- Extra balls
- An earned extra ball is played after the current ball drains without advancing the ball count. Its lamp stays on when earned and flashes during the extra ball. The operator can allow or prevent earning another extra ball during one.
- Tilt
- A tilt ends the current ball and cancels an earned extra ball.
