Valencia / Toledo pinball rules and strategy
The Strategy
Valencia and Toledo reset bonus, Double Bonus, and numbered-target progress every ball. Use the outer arcs and lit rollovers to reach 19K, hit A and B for Double Bonus, then collect the top saucer when its 5,000 state is lit.
The goal
Use the outer arcs to keep the ball up top and build bonus to 19K, hit A and B for Hit both A and B standup targets. The game doubles the end-of-ball bonus for the current ball., then resume top play and collect the saucer when 5,000 is lit.
Plunge for the top saucer.
Shoot either outer arc over its lower rollover button to return the ball to the top.
Use repeated top play to build the base bonus to 19K.
After the bonus reaches 19K, hit the A and B side standups from controlled shots.

Alternative route: Outer arcs and bonus only
Use this when A-B rebounds, the top saucer, or the center area is dangerous.
- Ignore the center number buttons.
- Repeat the safer outer arc to the top.
- Use lit rollovers and incidental saucer entries to build bonus.
- Skip Hit both A and B standup targets. The game doubles the end-of-ball bonus for the current ball. if the A-B target returns threaten the ball.
Need to know
- Base bonus
- Hits on lower rollover buttons, lit upper rollover buttons, and a lit top saucer build the end-of-ball bonus to 19K.
- Double Bonus
- Hit both side A and B standup targets to double the end-of-ball bonus for the current ball.
- Top saucer
- Ten-point switches alternate the saucer between number progress and bonus progress, then between number progress and 5,000 at maximum bonus.
Valencia and Toledo build a 19K base bonus through the outer arcs, lit rollovers, and the top saucer. Hit A and B during the same ball for Double Bonus, then resume safe top play and collect the saucer when 5,000 is lit. The 1-through-8 button sequence advances in order and can also be spotted by the saucer.
