Viking pinball rules and strategy
The Strategy
Viking uses the left inline drops for 5x Bonus and a right orbit to light and feed the upper-left bonus saucer. Complete the inline bank, build base bonus, then shoot the right orbit for repeated multiplied-bonus collects.
The goal
Complete the left inline drops for 5x Bonus and the exposed standup, build held Super Bonus to 20,000 and 40,000, then shoot the right orbit through the lit upper-left saucer for repeated Bonus collects.
Shoot the left inline drops from the right flipper. Stop after any center or bumper rebound.
Complete the inline bank to reach 5x Bonus and expose the standup behind it.
- Inline bank: The targets add base bonus and raise Bonus X. Completion lights the outlanes and exposes the rear standup for the rest of the ball.
Score inline-drop hits and sets of ten spinner spins until base bonus reaches the held 20,000 level, then the held 40,000 level. These levels reduce later-ball setup.
Shoot the right orbit from the left flipper. A strong shot can continue into the upper-left Collect Bonus saucer.

After a collect, shoot the right orbit again to relight the saucer. Repeat only while the orbit feed remains controlled.
Use the exposed rear standup or a rising-value spinner when the orbit is not safe. Protect the held Super Bonus progress.
Alternative route: Standup and spinner scoring
Use this when the right orbit, upper-left saucer, or inline bank has an unsafe return.
- Complete the inline bank once when it is still safe.
- Repeat the exposed standup from a controlled right-flipper shot.
- Use two quick spinner rips when the spinner carries enough speed to raise its value.
- Protect the 20,000 or 40,000 held Super Bonus level for later balls.
